Good morning from California.

My daughter arrived at Great Lakes on 9/1/10 and is in Ship 7 Div 351. We received her box within a week but have not gotten the letter with her PIR date and address.  I called the recruiter and got her address and he said the letter should be here soon but no dice. I am planning to call her recruiter again tomorrow in hopes of getting some PIR info, We want to reserve hotel rooms and start researching flights.  Really like the Navy4Moms site and am so glad to find someone else in Carly's ship/div. I was beginning to have nightmares that I had all the wrong info or something happened to her and no one told us, an imagination can be a terrible thing sometimes.  Having all this information is a little overwhelming but helps alot. Thank you so much.

Hey. My boyfriend is on the same ship with the same division number. Same story goes for us with the getting a box but no letter. Turns out we got the wrong address from his recruiter but we didnt realize this until this past week when we got his graduation packet. No letter/phone call yet. We found out his PIR from Navy4Moms(my brother is also at basic & my mom found it out for me). His PIR is October 29th.
Well my brother had his Battlestations test today, but Graduation is always on a Friday. Maybe that is it. My boyfriend left here on August 31st and arrived the same evening in Illinois.
Hi CRmom - we have a group started on here with this ship and division number, if you would like to join us! (And that goes for anyone else who has a Sailor on ship 07 division 351!) Plan on PIR being on 10/29/10. We received our form letter a week ago, today ... hopefully you'll get yours soon. I would say, go ahead and make your hotel reservations - just make sure you can change your reservations, and the same goes for air travel. Most will tell you it's best to get a ticket with changeable dates, so you don't lose money if for some reason your Sailor doesn't graduate on the date set.

When did your daughter ship out?
