Hello, regarding the messy rooms, my daughter left her room a mess. Clothes everywhere, Everything was just like she was going out for the night. I would have thought she would have gotten things together that she wanted to keep but I guess it is up to me.....

OMG! you guys are too funny! I just wrote my son telling him that his laundry would still be here waiting for him when he got home! lol because he would be an expert by the time he got back. His job in bc is laundry! He doesn't like doing laundry but he said at least he doesn't have to hang them! haha We hang our laundry at home on a clothes line. Does anyone know exactly what the Honor Guard does in the graduation?

ProudMomS - I think your son intentionally left everything on for your sake, you know make it look as though he weren't really gone!!

OMG I hope I didn't miss any calls. I do screen and refuse those without a name/ #.....but I assumed that I was looking for the 847 area code. I will be more careful now!

miasmommie~Wow, that is nothing like my experience. My husband and I laughed that he left as if he was returning an hour later. He left the the xbox on, computer still going, room a mess with clothes all over the place. It is kind of funny because I keep expecting to see him sitting at his desk chair when I walk by. I think my weekend project will be to clean it up! However, since he knows how to iron, fold and stow so well, I am tempted to wait for his first leave. :)

Too funny about the messy rooms!! Michell actually began decluttering (is that a word?),organizing and throwing stuff out months prior to leaving....I got some awesome clothes!! She even boxed up clothes for me to send to A school once she was ready for them. She detailed her car then cleaned the garage out to park it!
