Wow - my son just called me this morning - I thought it was an odd time of the day - they're sending him home in 2 weeks because he tested positive (very minor case he said they told him) for TB in the physicals. It sounds like they're not even going to take the chest xray to confirm if it's a false positive. I called his recruiter and he said he'd check it out. So now when he comes home we have to have the tests done here and then get a medical waiver signed by the doctors and should be able to return in 6 to 12 months. I am so disheartened. He waited so long to hear that he was finally going to BC and now they're sending him home already for something that could be checked out with one simple test. I'm crying, I'm angry and the whole thing has me so confused. This is something he's wanted since he was a little boy and he finally got there and now this......Have others experienced this? I think I saw on one forum a mom expressed the same, but I didn't know the outcome.

I got a letter from Allison today and she says the 900 divisions do all the Flags, Honor Guard and ceremonial drill at graduation (then she advised me to find a u-tube video!) She is so into the computer! ... but not for the next 8 weeks. She is with 87 other girls. I wish all those moms were on here too!!

Does anyone know about parking passes to PIR - I know they can be obtained within 10 days prior to the graduation date, but is there only one permitted per graduate? I am going with my family, but my son's dad will also be attending. Is he able to get his own parking permit?

Hey everyone, RTC just posted 23 awesome photo's on their Facebook page! Find them by typing the following in the friend search box: U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command

You will see lots of photos of all the performers at today's PIR (9/2/10), so that will be those recruits in the 900 divisions from several PIR groups.

Also - Craig in PIR 9/2 just posted photo's of their graduation on that groups page. He said he took a lot of photo's, will be posting more later too.

We got our first phone call on Tuesday night!!! My husband got most of the call because he answered and I didn't want to waist time by switching users! When I did get the last 10 seconds,,he sounded good. My call came up "payphone".
