N4M's Community Guidelines and OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Todd:  That's so great that you have a Mason too!  :-)  Thanks, ladies!  Going to see him again in just a few minutes...has been 24 hrs almost since I last saw him...I need "a fix!"  :-)

Dmae:  He has an average amount of hair...not bald, but not the huge full head of hair!  Just right!  HA!   He is 7 lbs...same size his daddy was when born.  Full-term for both!

Here is some info on the flags, KB!

That's FANTASTIC news Pastor Ben's Mom. That means they got all four mission areas.  From what I've been able to find out, they now can earn/qualify for an additional 3 and the Olympic flag.  Battle E if they earn all four areas and exceed in the any of them.  And if they excel in every phase and earn all flags, they qualify for a CNO Honor Flag.  Hall of Fame flag is awarded to the division that demonstrates consistently superior teamwork, dedication, and pride.  The Olympic flag is a fun competition between the Division. Lets hope they get one of the extra flags. GO DIV 415 !!!

Diannep, Your grandson is absolutely ADORABLE. Looks like he has a lot of hair. He looks so tiny. Congratulations:):)

Congrats diannep !!! My 2yr old grandson is named Mason also. Age is only a number! I know that things can change and not to expect a call. Mainly since he will call his gf before me anyway even if he could...... Haha. That's ok, as long as she shares what he had to say.
Pastor Bens Mom: great news about the flags. How many can they earn anyway?

Hoping for DeeDee, CatMom!  :-)

Thanks so much, machel!  Going to make the 40 min trip to see him again today!  They will leave the hospital tomorrow.

Good Morning All !

Good morning Navy moms and families, congrats diannep on your new grandson. I saw the picture, he is absolutely beautiful. Your son looks so proud holding him.

Comment by CatMom509 on October 13, 2013 at 3:55am

diannep,

Your new grandbaby can just call you "Mom D" instead of grandma, grammie, etc...  Yep, you are too young to be a grandma!!  Mason is the cutest!!  Happy Daddy too~~

I received a call from my SR today ship 03 Div 415. He said they have four flags.
Comment by diannep on October 12, 2013 at 10:08pm

Thanks for the congrats, ladies!  I sure think that little baby is a cutie, but am in denial that I'm a grandma!  I mean, my body is OLD but my MIND is young, right???  :-)

Todd:  Just remember that they can have scheduled calls and lose them or have them change at any time.  SO it is best not to have expectations on the calls, but keep your phones close at all times!
