Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 353-354.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the main wall to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Good Morning Everyone!  I hope to see some Div 354 ---soon - I think there are only 2-3 of us here???

My morning question is this....when my SR made the "I've arrived call" he said that we would hear from him in week 3.... lst week was Processing, Last week should have been week 2??? So can we 'hope' that sunday they were allowed to write letters??

2nd Question - I noticed that 351&352 had received 1 and sometimes 2 calls....so early in the game for 'good performance", is this the new normal????

Thanks!

And thank you for putting this up....:-)

I just got the division and ship from the recruiter that my son is USS Hopper  DG 70 division 354 with a Graduation date of 11/11.  Has anyone in division 354 gotten a form letter yet?

ldk - You are in the wrong Ship/Div - This Div 354 is for PIR 11/02 - your group in a week after and they have PIR on Fridays, not Sunday (11/11) so I would hold off until you get your form letter...

I know.  Something is off.  He got there on 9/4 he should have PIR on 11/02 according to what the recruiter said when he left.  The recruiter is who told me 11/11 and he knows they don't have PIR on Sundays.  He did text me and wrote NOV 11 so maybe their is some Navy Roman Numerals going on.  I don't have this language down yet. I can't wait to get the form letter.

My son arrived on the 4th too..We received the form letter on the 6th... I think the recruiter must have texted a typo,,,,  Bet you get it today, and I think since Sunday was their 2nd sunday in, they should be able to write letters home, so you might get the form letter and finally a personal letter this week!  Keep us posted!

Thanks.  It helps to talk it through.  My fear is my kid didn't fill the form out for what ever reason.  I did get his box on the 7th.

I think those days are over LOL....I'm pretty sure someone is checking and double checking them every minute these days...:-)

Hope you have a good day, and we are one day closer to getting a real letter......

Hi moms!!!  Glad to find you! :)

I got a letter from my SR today.  He sounded good. Of course my list of 20 questions has grown to 150!!

THERE IS LIFE IN 354!!!!

I got my letter today also.  I was really about to lose it.  It really helped.  I have been dancing around the kitchen all night.  The vacuuming is finished. Laundry under way and feeling good again.  What a long two weeks.  I am happy for all the moms that got letters early but the anticipation really paid off for me.  I hope every one has their form letters it really  made my day.

kkbmom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yippee....so glad to know someone's heard from 354!!!  I'll be hoping a letter makes it way to good old NJ today...Fingers crossed.

Happy Puppy

We will have letters soon I know it.  Happy Friday Moms!
