OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Tell her to go to Kohls in Homestead!  Just was there yesterday (down where you all were ready to get off the turnpike heading to the Keys...Campbell Drive exit on turnpike).  They had some really nice ones....on sale.  Not many of course...because this is S. FL but they did have some!

lol momof3 :-)

Diannep I talked to a South FL mom today who was searching for a winter coat lol. She has never in her whole life owned a winter coat lol. I can't even imagine that but oooooOOOOOO how I would like to lol.

Comment by diannep on October 10, 2012 at 9:34pm

momof3:  South Fl girl here myself.  My son's PIR was in early Feb.  UGH!  But thankfully we only had flurries when there (but lots on the ground...roads were clear though).  Fun to visit!  Not sure I would want to live in it!  Haven't worn my coat that I bought for PIR since then.....and that was almost 3 yrs ago!

Glad to see you here....now, can you go find your other hide and seek friends and tell them that we miss them?  :-)

And oh yeah, IT IS COLD!!  I keep looking at the weather and think uh oh.  I am from Florida, can't wait to see my daughter, but I like my warm sunshine.

I know and I keep calling ollie ollie oxen free, but only one or two will come out:)  I do love that countdown clock it keeps pulling me back!!!  And tonight I ventured onto Battlestations, I really appreciate the rundown on that.  I am starting to feel like we are going to make it to 11-2-12:)

Comment by Lala Ribbon Queen PIR Ribbons on October 10, 2012 at 9:11pm

Diannep I think they like to play hide-n-seek. Everytime we think they have gone they are really here lol. Maybe they are hiding behind the countdown clock :-) momof3 must be "it" lol because she comes out of hiding a lot hahahahaha
