OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

ccars, I am so sorry to hear that. I have your son and you of course in my thoughts and prayers. i know god has a plan and we may not always agree with it but I am sure it will work out to be what is best for your son in the end. Your strength is an inspiration and I hope you get good news very soon. The waiting and not knowing truly is the hardest part. {{{{{HUGS}}}}}

ccars, ((hugs)) for you and your son.  I'm sure with whatever happens, your son will be just fine.  Your faith in God and in him will help guide him in whichever path his life plan will take him.

TxNukeMom:  They are all bussed to the airport early in the morning to wait for flights.  Some will have early morning ones, some afternoon ones, some maybe even evening ones.

You just need proper ID (govt picture ID) to get a gate pass to wait with them until their flight leaves.  Your sailor will be there with you, it isn't hard to get.  But it is up to the airlines as far as how many people can get a gate pass per sailor...haven't heard of people being denied, but if someone has 20 people with them  :-), not sure they can all get gate passes.

ccars:  Your words below so inspired me this morning.  With my own personal battles going on here, I sure needed to read them!  Thanks so much.

I think your positive attitude and total trust in the Lord is such an example to all of us.  "Issues" in this world are so difficult...they don't always make sense to us when we realize that the Lord uses everything as part of His plan for us....and that there is "good" in every "bad" situation.

Praying that the Lord's plan for your son is revealed soon....
