Good Morning, everyone.  Just a suggestion for those wearing dresses to PIR (others too!)...Make sure you wear comfortable shoes since there is a good bit of walking that day.  I saw some who wore comfortable shoes to get there and brought their heels to slip on in the drill hall.

Yes, 4 of us will be at the M&G on the 3rd.  Me (of course); my husband; my Daughter-in-law, and her mother.... so hope you will be there too.  It will do DIL a ton of good to meet another wife.  She is going the other direction and wearing a Navy inspired shirt, jeans and a vest to keep warm. But, I don't think SR has sent her any special clothing requirements.  :-) 

On another note, I have just gotten totally involved and intertwined with N4M.  Couldn't find a group for Los Angeles, finally found another mom who wanted to do a M&G,,,,, and now, I am the creator of the Los Angeles Group and we are having our first M&G on 21Jan... GULP!!!!  ah well, it should work out,,,, but truly PIR 11/4 if any of you are in L.A. and will be at the Ramada 11/3 M&G, please introduce yourself....

In addition, my sister has done matching donations for Jerky to troops for several years.  In the past, Soldiers Angels arranged where the donations will go.... now she wants to do something that is Navy oriented. I am trying to figure out the best way to make this happen and am in contact with N4M Holiday Project. (which we are making goodie bags for anyway)  I hope to be able to have sis send lots and lots of Jerky to deployed Navy this year.... more on this later

Bandito I love the idea! I will post a pic 2morrow...MAYB we can do something so that we can know who is in our division! And will u ladies be at the meet and greet on the 3rd?

Of course, we could do Mission Dress.... each of us could be lined up and you hand a piece of winter clothing to us as you run down to your man! 

I am usually not that creative, but I just love the image of this.

Thanks dolls for the advice & support!  I am feeling more confident about this and i thinkl he will be extra excited to see me in THAT DRESS! ONLY 12 DAYS TO GO!

I agree w Bandito. Wear that dress!! lol...Just bundle up...I'm goin to buy a vera bradley bag this week so that I can carry a blanket w me. You will be fine ProudNavyWife.

The first time he sees me he wants to see me in a dress....I will be swollen bundled up and every minute counts so I don't want to have to go to the room change go out with the fam and celebrate....that's wasting to much time I need to be with him as much as possible because I won't see him for I don't know how long after PIR
