Finally got both questionaires back that I sent plus a letter written on holiday Monday.  So glad I sent them, as I know my SR never would have thought to send so much info in a handwritten letter.  Kind of cool too because he knew that I would understand about the Week:Day numbering.  In the letter, he used that to let me know what was upcoming.  SR is Div 361, letter written 10/10 and he said that was Week 4, Day 2.

got 2 letters today :) she has a PFA she needs to make up with a different division due to her injury. she said it was Picture week this week and they were getting Snicker Ice Cream so she was reallyyyyy happy about that!

I've gotten about 8 letters from my SR. In his last one, he stated that the next couple of weeks were going to be extremely busy and that he might not get to write. His said getting sleep is trumping writing letters. I have to agree with him there even though I want those letters.

Good Morning everyone :-) I have a questionnaire that I made to send my daughter a few before Battle Stations. It is uplifting and funny, a great way to get answers to your questions and it has an awesome paragraph in it that is about Battle Stations and teamwork. I think you will all like it. My Sailor is a girl so you may have to tweak it a little bit to make it work for your recruit. It is in the discussions above and you can just copy and paste it and then print it from your computer. You can even send a couple extra copies and have your recruit share them with fellow recruits and they will get the benefit of the encouragement and then can send it on to their family. I hope you all like it.

For those who have already ordered and paid for ribbons to wear to PIR I started mailing those already so be watching your mail. Another chance to stalk the mailman lol.

i hope i get letters tomorrow! you know when my boyfriend left, i thought the next two months would be the worst in my life. don't get me wrong they have been but they've going by pretty quick. i thought it would have gone by so much slower. it made me realize how fast life is! i've realized so many things about me, my relationship with my boyfriend, and life within the time he's been gone. i feel like i have matured so much! I can't wait for my SR to graduate! too bad i'll be stuck in texas though :/ *sigh
