fireteam...that's a great link!  I read the whole thing and now that I know today is 3-3 (Ship11div366) for him based on his last letter, I feel like i know what's going on there.  Thanks so much for that post...

As far as weeks go..."P" days don't "count" in the weeks. "P" days lasts about a week. Then there are six "training" weeks. BS21 comes at the end of (or near) week 6 (which added to "P" days is the seventh week at BC)  and into the begininng of week 7(..."week 8"). Then the final week/days of BC.

Here is a post that recruit wrote who was coached very well in DEP by Craig (retired Navy) and others on the Navy-DEP site. Made BC so much "easier" for her as far as knowing what to expect. So, she wrote this post about the day-by-day of BC to pass on to other DEPpers.

I have several emails from people wanting more info about the ribbons I make for families to wear to PIR. For some reason I cannot reply to any emails on this site. It is probably just a temporary thing. If you sent me an email and I have not responded you can email me at uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com   Thanks

Is anyone else having problems with the email on this site?

1ProudNavyMom - Basically, once a training group is "filled" that is the cut off. Those left over will start the next training group.
I will bump up the "Ship/Div" DF. It will explain how they are filled (randomly!)

I talked to my SR on Monday and he still sounds good.  He keeps insisting in his calls and his letters that his PIR is on 11/8.  Trying to get this resolved.  He states that he only has one more scheduled calling time but he is not sure when that will be.

lindsey4 - Welcome!
I believe you are the first one to report in with that ship/div. Would you like to start the discussion for that up above? Just click "Add a Discussion" at the bottom left hand corner of the Discussion Forum and fill in the Title with your Ship/Div and a brief greeting for the description.
