I guess it is kind of a funny story NOW, probally wasnt then. I had my son's picture at a base ball game. I guess it is a pay it forward kind of info.

TY sjtina - Well...I am getting more "proof" that the RDC's like to arm themselves on occassion! Yikes, I don't want to know what they do with the pics...okay I do!

We advise ALL of you ladies to try and "fly under the radar" but sjtina is right...the SPECOPS have to be even more careful with OPSEC(OPerational SECurity), COMSEC(COMmunications SECurity) and PERSEC(PERsonal SECurity)...they may not be out doing missions right now but the RDC's are giving them a taste of the life of an operator! Starting with "military humor". It's embarrasing for them, but the things that they will be challenged to do in their career field...this is mild. We watch movies and such and there's always the arrogant SPECOP guy...it happens, can't we all get "full of ourselves" at times?...but for the majority are very humble compassionate people...I think it's because they are challenged with things in this life that the we will never even come close too. That's what civilians don't "get". Okay, off my soapbox!

Now...don't freak out ladies...about your pics and such just read the rules calmly and the advice here and make the decisions!

Hi Ladies. My son was Division 822 in 2010. For those of you who do not know already you will find that 800 divisions are slightly different then the other divisions.  I am currently involved in the last 2 BUD/S classes and a member of 5. If anyone has a recruit in spec ops I would be more than happy to answer any questions.

sjtina, I sent you a pm.  Thank you for your help with the 822 division.

Thank you sjtina.  Trust me I will have questions! I am still on cloud nine from reading the little note on the back of the letter. How many recruits are in the division? I was wondering if it is the same as the other divisions.

Jil - your welcome. LOVE the pic!

trisha7 - Tell your 12 year old to cheer up! Here's why he wasn't on the list!

:iconguttersheep:

Children 12 and under do not count as one of the four guests and do not have to be on the access list. Just need a Photo ID, Social Security card or Birth certificate as per RTC website Family Guide. (Click Family Guide and it will open it for you!)

So he won't need to be and just an FYI for everyone PIR does not require tickets...you just have to be on the access list or 12 and under!

Hi Ladies
I'm so excited for my son. How can I obtain more tickets for graduation? Receiving his box and letter made me feel better! My 12 year was heartbroken when his name wasn't on the guest list for graduation. I miss my son.
