Could be, Margarita....or it could be a "temp" address. He'll get the letter eventually.  But be sure to check the form letter when you get it and use that one (the one he wrote in).  That is his official address.

I have a question! My fiancé sent me his box of clothes and we just received it. Is the address on the box the one I would use to sent him letters, because I used it to send him one. All the excitement got to me.

bsobo:  There have been "bathroom encounters" with sailors before PIR...and I have a friend who went to the door of the PIR drill hall and there was her sailor...greeting people!  He didn't tell her beforehand...she about fell over!  Couldn't bear hug him as he was "on duty" but had a smile covering her face, she said!

But, I agree with Lala...most of us didn't get to see them until they marched into the hall...and in my case, I didn't even see him then!  Didn't spot him the entire time!  UGH!

Welcome, AlannaSon!

bsobo:  If he has an unusual name (the only one in bc with that name), he may get them.  If not, then they most likely will be returned to you since they won't know which SR _____ should get them.  Don't worry...just put a bunch more in the mailbox today!

bsobo (and any other wives/spouses, future wives/spouses) - Here is another group that might help you along:

Advice for new Spouses

It was started by a young lady from my PIR group.

lol, don't feel too bad, you are definitely not the first, that has happened to others as wll and it turned out okay. It will give you both something to laugh about later.Just send another tomorrow and those will catch up to him soon :-)

I feel so bad lol. I just was thinking YESSS its finally here! put them in an envelope and ran to the post box.
Comment by Lala Ribbon Queen PIR Ribbons on September 15, 2011 at 10:48pm
they will probably get to him, it will just take a few days longer. If they come back to you just fix the envelope and send them again. Ask him in your next letter if he got them :-) It will be okay, we all get excited sometimes :-)
Comment by bsobo on September 15, 2011 at 10:41pm
Ok so can someone help me out with this one....I got so excited about sending my husband his letters that I have been saving that I forgot his ship and division!!!!! Does anyone know what will happen to those letters? Will they come back to me or will they eventually find him? I can't believe I did that!
