Rhonda:  Sometimes the letters may take a while to get through the RTC mail facility....there are lots of SRs on base getting letters!  I'm sure they will arrive soon!

We finally heard from our SR on this past Saturday.  He is ship 13, div 007, PIR 11/14/14.  He had a little cold but overall good.  Of course I maintained myself and stayed strong for about a minute and then lost it again.....;-(  I tried so hard not to cry but it came anyways.  He did ask me why he had only received one letter from his Grandma so far which is strange because we have all sent several.  I think they just have allot of mail to distribute so I am sure his are on their way soon.  He actually called me, my husband who was at a car show, and his girlfriend. It was pretty cool that we all got to talk to him.  I hope all of you Momma's that have not heard yet will hear very soon.  (Have tissue ready) It helps to hear their voice.  ;-)

Happy Birthday to your SR. Sending hugs to you and when you see him that will be the best hug ever. We have to tell our SR's to keep their chin up and their eyes on the prize. They will all be so proud of themselves.

Happy Birthday to your SR, jaimedgg!!

Cody's Proud Navy Momma, all the moms here in this PIR are here to support each other~~  Some days on this Navy journey are better than others.  It's a process...  removal of the wisdom teeth is pretty routine and the SRs love the 2 days they get to rest and be in their beds, then back to training they go with no problems!  The Navy keeps a close watch on all the SRs, taking care of their needs~~  Fear not!!

Soon ellen0502 will set up discussion groups for brother divisions up in the Discussion forum up above. You can also Friend and private message each other if you want to get to know each other better until those groups form~~

Thank you diannep and TJ, I very much appreciate the support from everyone. I have done so well not crying constantly and today I cant seem to stop. My mind does go to the worst. I keep wondering if he had problems with getting his wisdom teeth taken out. Did any other Moms hear if they have already done this with our SR's?

Cody's Proud Navy Momma, I hate to hear you haven't heard from your SR. We tend to think the worse when we don't hear, but as others say no news is good news. I'm hoping and praying you receive a call and/or letter this week. Please know we're here to support you (and each other). Sending (((Hugs))) your way. Have you joined the Facebook PIR 11-14-14 page?

Sailorswife2716 I am on the PIR FB page I just wasn't sure if there was one set up for my sons Div specifically. I have seen a lot of other moms that have said that they have one set up.

jaimedgg it has got to be hard not being able to be with him on his birthday. Extra prayers coming your way today!! ((((hugs))))

And ChelseysMom I seen that you booked at Navy Lodge, we booked four rooms there for Thursday-Saturday. We are only a four and half drive from Chicago. I like that the shuttle is only $2. round trip and the ones that are going can watch the PIR from either the Chapel or right there at the Navy Lodge. They did not tell me that my SR would have to come over and show ID. My Dad was Military so I will have him bring his ID just in case we need it.
