I was wondering if our recruits will be able to leave the RTC site that weekend with their family-can anybody tell me yes or no and if yes, what the restrictions?
OrlandosMom: Courtyard has an indoor pool!
I can personally recommend Residence Inn, in the same general area as the Holiday Inn Express. Nice for larger groups since they have 2 bedroom 2 bath full kitchen suites with a pullout sofa in the living room for those who want to stay together.---I believe they have one bedroom units too. In our unit, there was a queen bed in each of the bedrooms. Pets are welcome too!
Others recommended by ladies on this site are:
Courtyard, Springhill Suites (all close to Residence and Holiday Inn Express) and Navy Lodge. Navy Lodge fills quickly so call now if you want that one. It is about a mile from RTC....the other hotels are about 4-5 miles from RTC and right near Sarge's MeetandGreet held the night before PIR for graduating sailors' families/friends! Navy Lodge already has a very good rate (book in your SR's name if you are not military yourself), but you will need to call the other hotels directly and ask them for their Navy Graduation rate.
Orlando'sMoM,
The Holiday Inn Express in Waukegan/Gurnee has an indoor pool and a great free hot serve yourself breakfast buffet with waffles, biscuits & gravy, eggs, etc... YUM!!
Let your SR know if you want him to join you at the pool as he would need to bring his Navy issued swim attire~~
Hello Friends!

and not to harm you, plans to give you
