BTW... Booked my room this morning at the Navy Lodge for only $66 per night!
Good afternoon all, my son is also Ship 02 Div 901. Looks like more families are receiving their letters and joining the group! I feel very fortunate that I can share this journey with all of you. It sure makes me feel more comfortable with the unknown :-)
My son is in Ship 14 Div 002. I love the countdown above!! I am definitely counting the days until I get to give him a big hug and tell him how proud I am of him!!!
My son is in Ship 2, Div 901. I understand this is the 'band' group? He plays the trombone. I hear we may catch glimpses of our kids two weeks before their graduation, as they play for other PIR groups. HOW EXCITING!
Happy Friday!
"But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You;
let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them;
let those also who love Your name be joyful in You."
Psalm 5:11
SHIP 02, DIV 901, PIR 11/14/14!!!! So proud to be a part of the group! Love my SR!
My 22 yr old son in Ship 14 Div 001 told me before he left "I'm not going to write letters. If I have any free time I'll be sleeping" If any of you have kids in that unit please scribble "tell Andrew to write home" and we can see how strong our NavyMoms group can be!!! I am going to inundate him with cards/letters and his sisters will too and maybe he will be guilted into it! He hates writing. Its just more work for him. I am very grateful for this group. It has been so helpful and I think any tidbits of info I learn about his time there will be not from him but from you all!
Hi everyone!!!
I am so excited for my SR and now I have you all to share it with!!!
