In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 801
Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).
sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.
Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.
Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.
We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hmmm....surprised that Sarge said that since he runs a shuttle service! It is totally up to you whether you drive to PIR or take shuttle. Here is what people do:
Take shuttle which drops off/picks up right there at the gate (either Sarge's shuttle service or area one...same price) You contact Sarge for his, sign up with hotel for the other.
Take car and park on base---take your gate pass for this. If you do this, here is a hint: On Buckley, stay to the left when heading to RTC and bypass the long car line waiting to head into RTC on your right. Pass RTC. Turn around right past there in the train station or nearby. Head back to RTC from the opposite way. Easy left turn into the base...no waiting!
Others drive but elect to park at the train station and walk to the gate (about 3/4 of a mile). That way, they can get out quickly, pick up their car at the train station, or jump on the train and head into Chicago.

I received a letter from my SR today. He sounded very positive and looking forward to a home cooked meal next weekend. Our hotel room has a full kitchen so I told him I'll cook whatever he wants. He has had 3 inspections sor far and has received perfect scores on all. He saw the cardiolist and the whole thing was nothing, as I suspected. YEAH! MEPS forgot to get a waiver for the ADHD medication used to take a couple years ago so there might be a delay in starting dive prep school. Praying the waiver is signed by graduation. I am so excited for next week. We are leaving on Wednesday and plan on packing Sunday. WOW that sounds funny now that I've typed it. Kinda crazy to pack so early. Oh well, guess I'm one excited mom. Hooyah!!!

Happy Friday!
got a letter yesterday from my SR. He said it would be his last until PIR. :( He has given me no information on where they will be located during the ceremony, and I am wondering WHERE we should sit. Does anyone else have any information from their SR's??

It's my understanding there will be signs with the divisions #'s on them and we'll sit across from those signs. Also, they march in order, so I'm assuming 801 will be at the end...??? But who knows, 801 doesn't seem to follow the same rules as the rest of the divisions. :)

I received my last letter on Thursday. My SR said he will be in the back because he is tall and on the right side. Not sure if that will help you.
