Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 007 and 008

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hello fellow div 007 & 008's I have a son in 008 we are from Calif anyone else?

Hello!  Yes.  I have a son in 008.  We are from Maryland.

My son is in 008 as well, I was very excited when I was able to talk to him on Saturday

Yes.  He called at the perfect time.  His sister, brother, myself and my fiance were all there.  I was able to put him on speaker phone and we could all listen and take turns speaking to him.  Then he was able to call his older brother and wish him a happy birthday.  His brother told me later it made him cry.  It made our weekend.

Unfortunately I was the only one home, my husband was very upset that he missed his call as was his brother.  But, as you said it made my day, and I was able to record the call with my cell phone so his dad was at least able to hear his voice.

I'll have to play with that feature on my phone. He will probably call at a time when not everyone is around.  It would be nice to play it for others.  Time will go by fast.  I know he's learning a lot he said.  He's in charge of PT.  He's very excited for the final test.

My son told me he was charge of towels. I'm wondering if that means he's in charge of doing laundry. He loves doing laundry, I know that's strange, but so do I. He could also be joking, not sure cause he has a very dry sense of humor. No pun intended.

That's funny my son said he was in-charge of laundry as well I wonder if they are together?

My son specifically said towels, and there are a lot of towels! Your son is probably in charge of all laundry. They probably have a sheet guy and a clothes guy too.

my crazy son is in charge of cleaning the heads(aka bathroom)  funny thing is that was his chore at home.

My son is in 008 as well. We are in AZ. It was so great to talk with Sat., I feel so much less stressed this week!

hello my son is ship 13 div 008
