WELCOME to PIR 11/16/2012

OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Happy Sunday Everyone! 4 more days til we get to leave and 5 until we see our Sailors! Congrats to all who have already received the 'Im a Sailor call" and congrats to Div 008!! woohoo!! Any veteran moms have any experience living in Norfolk VA? My hubby sent a letter confirming that would be where we are stationed... he got assigned to an aircraft carrier ;-) So exciting... he told me to start looking for homes but I am at a complete loss at where to start! We have a baby, so I want somewhere safe! Thanks again for all the help and encouragement through this whole process, I would not have made it without this site!! xoxo

martiheg, Yes, thanks for posting that.  All caps ladies!

Note to everyone ~ I just went to print my Gate Pass and, to spare everyone the brief moment of panic I had, the password is case-sensitive! So make sure you write it as your SR/Sailor wrote it. Mine needed to be all caps, and I'm assuming the passwords are all that way.

Kguzman21, I would be happy and honored to meet your Sailor and snap as many pics as he'll stand still for. Message me and we can figure it out.

Veteran Moms: I would like to thank you for YOUR service today, this Veteran's Day. I don't know if you've officially served in one of our military branches, but you certainly serve your country! Your service to this website, and the love and support you give your Sailors is something to be highly commended.

Thank you so much for all you've done!

Sometimes there are 3 winners of Captains Cup.  All-Male, Integrated (male/female), and Motivational Chant.  But many times, one of the first two winners also wins Motivational Chant.

Kquzman:  Why not post in your division discussion group above that you can't be there and see if someone can give him a hug for you and snap a pik to send to you?  The ladies are so wonderful about that.  Just be sure to private message his name, don't post it up there.

Dina, so glad that you finally spoke to him.  YAH!

Good Morning Ladies!
