Proud Mama of a Div 001 Sailor!!!
I second that sabp26! Just got off the phone with SR! Thank you so much for all of your help ladies! I don't know what we would do without you;-) HOOYAH!!!!
My son is now a US Navy Sailor... Ship 9 Div 002 !!
He told his GF he got "best leader", any idea what that means?
Dina: They can do max 4 divisions at a time, but many times do only two or three (if 900 or 800 division joins a set of brother divisions) sometimes. I agree with SEA'smom. Don't think they will go on Veteran's Day since that is a very special military day.
We can't post on here when they actually go, by they way. RTC has asked us not to disclose BS dates publicly...but we can private message them. But although it has been reported to me that they are going two divisions at a time, that can change! So keep phones handy during the afternoons next week just in case!
Good afternoon everyone!! Just wanted to say thank you for being here even though I wasn't all the time!
MY SR IS A SAILOR!!!! HOOYAH!!!!
Just got off the telephone with him and wanted to share with you...
Mikesmom- REALLY? that just stinks. And yes they do....
Oh that's right.. that is when it will be observed. Well I guess it'll just have to be Thurs, if I actually am near the phone. I have a doctor's app and a class that I go to every Thurs evening, taking my final. I can't just have my cellphone going off.
Dianne - I keep forgetting how far Great Lakes is from O'Hare. :)
I'm sure this is true for everyone else: I am on pins and needles today, waiting for that call...
I am at work, but will be racing home just as soon as that last bell rings!
SEA's mom: We rented a car a few weekends ago, and there was a new rule that I'd never seen before (maybe it was just for that one rental company?). We needed to show a receipt that we filled up within 10 miles of the rental car return. I hope that's not the case, because as soon as you get that close to O'Hare, the prices really jump!
Dina-Monday is a holiday-Veterans Day, I doubt BS will be done that day but I could be wrong.
