WELCOME to PIR 11/21/2012!

OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

pinkladybug:  No ticket needed, but your SR should have put your name on the form letter list (4 names per SR).  If your SR didn't, they will have another chance to update the list about a week before graduation (PIR).

11 days before PIR, you will be able to download the gate pass from the RTC site.  That info should be in your form letter.

As far as the SRs not passing, if they don't pass their final tests, you would know within a week before PIR.  But they usually have chances to pass these before graduation.

Your SR will find out where A School is based on his job in the Navy.

DancingSailor  So very sorry about your fractured back!  Hope that you are ok now.

Thanks for clarifying your info!

Thetwoj:  I agree with the ladies' posts on here too. We are thankful that he did his best to serve.  No shame at all in that!  Blessings as the Lord reveals his future to him once he is back with his family....

Good Afternoon!

Make sure you go poke around in PAGES. It is underneath the Members Pictures. It only displays ten (right now that's all there are) so click "View All" to go to the PAGES section of the PIR group and you can use the features at the bottom to see all of them. Just click on their links to open up the page.

If you have any questions please comeback here to the Main Wall of the PIR GROUP to ask them!

Thetwoj-Praying for you and your son. I wish nothing but success for him. Sorry that his medical condition has him coming home, but like you said God has a different plan for him. Health and Safety first! I'm glad the Navy recognized that and cared about your son the individual first. God bless you both!
