The address is

USS Stockdale (DDG 106)

OPS Dept/OI Division

FPO/AP  96678-1205

Before the ship name, the first line is your Sailor's Rank and name

Now the OPS Dept/ OI (that's a capital I) Division - I know is my son's, I don't know if it applies to everyone.

Hope that helps

If your son is young and just out of boot camp maybe he is just getting used to his Navy life where as my son is 27 and has been in for a while. We have had many talks and he knows it's very important that I hear from him. It takes them a while to understand that just "Hi mom, I'm fine" is all we need! :) Hope you are having a good day!

Hi SailorMom59! Happy to help! Their deployment address is:

          USS STOCKDALE

       FPO AP 96678-1205

      Your son's Dept. and Name

My son is in the Air Dept., but I'm sure it will get to him if you don't know that info. I hear from my son about once a week and his girlfriend hears from him everyday! :) I sent him cookies and told him to share with the guys only after they have emailed their loved ones!  Hope you hear from him soon!

My thoughts and plans are to maybe car pool. We live In Columbia,SC. My intentions are to leave after work on Monday. Drive about 5 or 6 hours then stop to sleep. My husband mapped it out and he said that we were going to stop in Kentucky.
We would get up the next morning and finish off the trip.

It's just an idea and just so you the last post you posted about prayers to get there kinda of hit me hard. I know that I would be devasted if I couldn't be there.

Anyway, let me know what you want decide.

I need prayers. I have no financial way, at the time, to go see my son graduate. It would break his heart if I wasn't there. then nobody would be there for him. PLEASE just pray that I can go. I know GOD hears our prayers. Thank you. :-)
