Good Morning! How'd ya'll do with pictures at the Graduation Wednesday? Anyone sitting in front and up on balcony of Division 016? Could you please share pictures with me, if you got some of the whole group? Mine came out blurry. My son was in the row all the way to the left, fourth one up from back. If you have ANYTHING that's clear...I'd appreciate it so much if you'd email me....HonleeSar@aol.com      Thank you!  Have a great day!

My son is going to Meridian Mississippi so that explains it.

There are 4 groups. My sailor is going to Pensicola. That may be the difference. His plane leaves in the evening. He will be there all day. What time are you going there?
Comment by beckybec on November 22, 2012 at 4:34pm
Julia I'm going but my son told me they are leaving at 0300 but his plane doesn't actually leave until noon.

Apparently they are getting dropped off at 5 am. I plan to meet him in main terminal. I was told I can park behind. If not I'll park and wait in my car. I'm not staying just dropping a phone off. Is anyone else going?

Julia:  Is this for your sailor?  Any way that your sailor can meet you curbside to get the phone so you don't have to park?  Just not sure how the parking lots will be since it is Thanksgiving weekend...maybe pretty full...don't think you should have a problem with traffic that early....I would imagine that many are off of work on Friday this week....

I mailed my son his with no problem....but of course, it would be nice for your sailor to have the phone now so you can stay in touch!

If I drive to midway tomorrow to drop a phone off and then head to ohare for my flight will I be able to easily park at midway? Also, will the traffic be so bad at 6 am in Chicago that I should just mail a phone? My flight is at 1pm from ohare so I think I can swing it. I just not sure about Chicago traffic.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!  Hoping today is a very special day with your sailors.  A "bonus" day as most PIR groups would be at the airports saying goodbye to them today.  Enjoy!

Timax:  You are very welcome!  Our N4Moms Team loves helping you all!  Please feel free to join any of the future PIR groups to post your experiences/ info now that you are N4Moms veterans too!  We always encourage you all to post info on the next PIR group.  That would be PIR Nov 30th for you all.  They are always interested in your hints on how to better enjoy their future PIR.  Here's the link!

This group has been my anchor through Boot Camp. A place to go for advice, encouragement and socializing. I am so blessed to have gotten a ride up here for PIR from another Navy mom (that I met right here) and her husband. Good good people!! It's because of them that I got to see the most IMPORTANT day of my sons life. His face lit up when he saw me and my daughters up in the stands! yep, he can pick me out (the hat) anywhere.  He kept squeezing me the whole time I saw him yesterday!!!! So thank you fellow Navy Mom for providing me the transportation!!  I am truly blessed and THANKFUL!!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!!
