You are now all ALUMNI of this PIR GROUP! I have changed the title.
PLEASE feel free to come back here and visit! This was your first "home" on here...many of you have made connections and it belongs to all of you.
Thank you for having us "veterans" along for the journey!
Blessings to you and yours...and to your New Sailors!
Happy Thanksgiving!
I am reposting this here as mollybub has made a Discussion to see if anybody has a clue:
(as far as Liberty Pick up time)
Is he at GL for A school? Or is he staying at RTC?
You may just have to plan on "early" and wait and see.
Hmmmm, if he is at RTC, I am wondering how they ae working that with the Adopt-A-Sailor Pick ups.
Anybody have a clue for either base?
after having a fabulous morning with our sailor, even hung out for a bit after graduation. he went on the bus at 12 to check into A school, then called us and said to meet him at the gate between 3:30 and 4pm. well nearly TWO hours later, waiting outside where it was now cold and dark and we hungry and have a cab waiting, our sailor eventually comes, well we just wondering what happened there, he taxi driver said that was unusual
mas: I am soooo happy you got his pictures!!!! What a beautiful gift!!! :-) GOD IS GREAT! :-)
mas-Glad you got his pictures to brighten this day!
Kirsi and mrehm - Sorry you got no time and very little...but glad you have tomorrow. have a blessed time and wonderful Thanksgiving!
mollybub - I am guessing he was not told :-(. Just be prepared for early. Does he have a calling card still?
mas - so sorry that you were not here today. It was very nice. But, on the other hand, God does work in strange ways. I am glad that you received your pictures. I am sure that made your day. God Bless you and your SR. I hope that you have a Happy Thanksgiving.
Prayers answered. Today was difficult missing PIR and missing my sailor really wished I could see him today. My wish came true when I got home from work today…not the way I imagined but it totally made my day. My sailor’s pictures came in the mail and I got to see him after all!
Thank you for all your prayers. I will never underestimate prayers from Navy Moms.
TiagosMoms12, Ctownmom, and SailorMom59 – Thank you all for your support and helping me make it through the day.
