OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance. Please take the time
to read the OPSEC and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names of Sailors/Recruits are not allowed on this site. If it is in your username you will need to change your username. If yours is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

just wondering if you have all heard of the site "calls for recruits.com", they issue calling card numbers free for our recruits. i just sent some to my son, i got the link from here somewhere.

Sorry...This is a repost w/o the recruits last name. I know its exciting to have contact! It is important to remember that we are not allowed to post last names of recruits/sailors on this site. No worries, it happens. That's what we're here for!

I received letters today! my son is bunkmates with... I guess there initial are almost the same so the two of them messed up on a bunk inspection but they both learned a lesson and they got it straight now. He also said that the 90 guys are starting to get along with the RDC so it is getting easier, he wanted to quit on P-days he said mentally tough. He is starting to write how appreciative he is of his up bringing which is always nice for parents to hear! Said it hard to study with 90 guys talking, but the test are multiple choice so far and things are getting easier on all of them and he likes he crew! I can't stress how important it is to write everyday and let our SR's know how proud we are of them. This is one of the toughest things our young adult children have done, made a choice to defend us for our freedom, how awesome is that. I love hearing about your young ones adventures are so sharing mine. This is a great site and I have learned so much, god put me through this at the write time, with no internet I tell you I would be a bigger mess, not sure if I could even go to work each day - which I have too! Thankyou all for your support, we are halfway through this!

My husband sent me a letter today asking me if I could send him instructions on how to reinforce a becket. I don't even know what that is.... Anybody know where I could find this information?
