I love the "MOM" in this group....talk of new ideas to write about and what to wear!!!  New questions from me:  1. I tried to RSVP to Meet & Greet on this site but it would not allow me to input the number of guests???  2.  I have decided to rent a car after all, does anyone have that Enterprise coupon still??  Thanks!

Also the phone number for the hotel directly is 1-773-686-8000, if you call the general Hilton reservations line they will have no idea what you are talking about when you refer to a daily rate.

Comment by Nick's Mom on November 3, 2014 at 4:41pm

FYI - I know someone mentioned that the Hilton at the airport offers a daily rate. I just called to make a reservation and wanted to pass along the info. The daily rate is $70-90 (depending on 2-4 ppl in a room), room is reserved 9am-6pm. I also asked about the rate for overnight which is $159-209, check in is at 3, check out is at noon. You have up until midnight the night before to cancel. I am going to make a reservation for both and once I confirm my SR's flight I will adjust accordingly. Just have to keep track of all these reservations! I'd really rather not wake up in the middle of the night and have to drive to the airport. And BTW, parking is $60, internet is $15.....the price tag for this trip just continues to build!

You're welcome. :) There is plenty to write about, the shopping cart at the grocery store even has a point of view.

Big Smile

That IS a great idea.  I sent my SR a letter from his dog and a picture too.  I know it put a smile on his face because he commented about it on the phone.  Try it:)

@ellen0502- haaaaa!!  too funny.  Thank you for that.  I write him every single day and it is starting to get tricky.  I will write him from his car!

Comment by ellen0502 on November 3, 2014 at 1:20pm

Write letters to your SRs that come from a pet. Have the pet tell them about "their" day. Write a letter from the lawn in the front yard about who mowed the yard, and what happened. The washing machine can wonder why none of your SRs clothes are getting washed and how it doesn't miss the stinky socks, and remembers the time it tried to get that "stain" out of a favorite shirt, but just couldn't get it done.

My son received a letter from the tree out front that had to be bolted together in the spring, how its trunk split from the heavy first snow and the deep freeze, was given the name FrankenMaple and didn't like it much.

Think outside the box. Get creative!!

Comment by Bookster on November 3, 2014 at 1:01pm

I feel I am running out of things to say to him in the letters:( I put sports stuff, jokes, world news and stuff.  But family personal stuff I at rock bottom!

Is anyone with mw in saying some days I have lots to write my SR and other days it is gibberish?
