2ndTimeAround,

I was on the lower set of bleachers up against the wall that you can lean on--really appreciated that wall!!  I told my Sailor daughter to just stay put where she was and I would go to her, so she's wasn't looking for us while we were looking for her~~

I'm wondering....about where to sit at PIR.  Last time I sat in the upper seats.  I had a great view!  My son happened to be on the outside of the row so I was able to see spot him as he walked by.  It was truly awesome but, being upstairs made finding each other in the hall difficult.  I'm considering being on deck, lower level.  Opinions on best viewing?

Joje:  It is up to you if you want to mail it to him....sometimes a little risky to do that.  You may want to send it priority mail for a little extra security....Remember that they are  issued a Recruit Supply Card when they arrive (I believe it has about $100 on it) to use in the NEX.  It would be safer for you to give it to him after PIR, but I would write and ask him if he wants you to mail it.

I know I may have read this...but don't remember the advice.  My SR signed up for NFCredit Union right before leaving, so his debit card arrived afterwards.  Am I able to mail it to him?

Thanks Catmom509 for all the inspiration with your scriptures!

bananabear,

I've heard of Dollar and Thrifty, which are both on the lower end of the rental car spectrum.  I personally prefer Enterprise because of their service.  Also, they will pick you up if you need a ride to get to any of their offices and they'll give you a ride when you drop their rental car back off to them~~

CatMom509,

When Cryptogirl went over to the Middle East for a year, she left a bunch of prized possessions at  home. I took the opportunity to photograph most of her coin collection. There are some winners in there.
