Good Morning!
Thank you FTLW!! I just sent the email...hopefully it will be resolved soon. I miss you ladies!! I can't get to my computer regularly, but hearing that little "ding," on my phone, always made me happy :)
Well...I have to admit I was a bit addicted to being on here LOL
BTW, I was completely "social media" illiterate when I joined N4M's (It's still the only one I am on...no FB yet!)and "shakin' in my boots" afraid that I would "leak" info that I shouldn't. (OPSEC/PERSEC is s "biggie" with me.). Or push a button that I shouldn't...found out how much fun I was having and just started pushing buttons and look at me now! LOL
MommaJ - If you are still having a problem you may report it to the Administrator of the Site her name is Tiffany.
TO REPORT AN ISSUE WITH N4M's:
Go down to the very bottom of any page that you are on. You will see this on the right hand side:
Badges | Report an Issue | Terms of Service
"Click" on Report an Issue.
A new box will open up so you may send a message to the Admin.
Sometimes it could be something that you inadvertently clicked on OR just an individual Member having an issue with the site (as opposed to a site wide issue).
I hope that may help...wouldn't want you to miss out!
For those of you looking for a special gift for your SR-soon-to-be-Sailor, I got a couple of these Challenge Coins for my Sailor daughter when she graduated PIR last year, please check out www.pirgifts.com. Challenge Coins are a military tradition. Craig, who is one of the veterans on Navy for Moms, designed the ones that are connected to the ships at RTC. The name of your SR's ship is right next to the ship number in the Discussion Forum. When you click on one of the coins, you will be taken to a page where there is a video about Challenge Coins. This would be a special gift especially connected to their Boot Camp days! Another really sharp coin is the Core Value one--it has cut outs and a diamond cut beveled edge. These coins are no longer given out by the Navy to the Sailors, so it is up to friends and famiily. My Sailor daughter thought her USS Hopper (Ship 03) coin was "cool."
