Good morning all! Sent my SR a phone card, bought plane tickets, called my brother to tell him we are joining him for Thanksgiving (yeah I don't have to worry about rental car or hotel or cooking a turkey!) things are coming together. Maybe today there will be a letter in the mail--darn Columbus Day yesterday!

chowdercall911,

My second daughter and I just drove over to Sarge's Meet & Greet since it was only a like 3 minutes away from our hotel.  By the way, even though it is hosted at the Sundance Saloon, it is totally kid and family friendly as it is closed to the public during the Meet & Greet~~

The days, the missed phone calls, the wondering....it was worth it for me to meet my "support group"  :)

chowdercall,

:) It's extra tough with a little one but, you'll get in done.  And, as far as I know, you can arrive at Sarge's however you're able.  I took Sarge's taxi straight from airport to meet n greet (flight delays) but, there were many there that had rentals.   ....I think we arrived around 7pm

addgrey,  I have to make this trip alone too.  I will stay hopeful that I too will not have to spend the holiday with the X...lol

Got my flight booked! Flights are so expensive that my other 3 kids and my husband will be staying here for Thanksgiving. I do, however, get to spend Thanksgiving with my ex-husband and his wife... LOL... should be an interesting holiday! Just glad I get to see my boy and look forward to meeting all of you at Serge's dinner the night before!
