Sorry, just saw where CatMom had already addressed the last name issue!  Sorry to be redundant!  :-)

Comment by diannep on October 9, 2014 at 2:47pm

Ladies, just a quick reminder that no SRs' last names are allowed on here.  Sorry!  Against the site rules.  If you posted one, please copy/paste your comment without the last name (you can use initials) and click on the "x" in the original post box to delete.  Thanks so much....and Happy Birthday to your SR!  :-)

texaspride,

The favorites are the Navy Lodge, Courtyard Marriot, Holiday Inn Express, Residence Inn, and Springhill Suites--the last 4 all in Waukegan/Gurnee, only 10 mins from Recruit Training Command (RTC).  There are restaurants and a SuperWalmart right there too.  Also, Sarge's Meet & Greet is located in the area.  Free dinner, lots of info for PIR and Chicago, and kid/family friendly!  Happens the night before PIR from 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm.

Call the hotels direct and ask for the Navy Graduation rate.

Hi Friends!

"If the Lord delights in a man's way,

He makes his steps firm; though he

stumbles, he will not fall, for the Lord

      upholds him in His hand."

deidre86,

Happy Birthday to your SR son!  But please remove his name from this page.  Last names are not allowed on N4M for OPSEC reasons.  Thanks~~  You can copy and re-post without his name.   ((HUGS)) to you on his special day!
