Rub that belly, Ash and remember the great gift you two will be sharing soon enough!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! If I could send you a cake I would do so.

Ash- I think we all at some point or another have had days like that. Especially during boot camp. And I am sure he is missing you very much today as well. And I would bet a million dollars (if I had it lol) that he would give anything to have been the first one to tell you happy birthday this morning. Maybe you can take out a couple of old birthday cards from him and remember how special those birthdays were and then plan to celebrate with him at PIR and realize how special you are to each other :-)

I'm not expecting sympathy with this post, I simply needed somewhere to vent, and what better place than here, maybe someone can realate!

Today is my 23rd birthday, yayyy, but birthdays have never been that important to me. Of course I like the cards and CAKE (= but I never got too over excited. For the past 3 years though my birthday was something my husband made sure to make special for me. Whether it was dinner and a movie, or he simply cleaned the house and made me dinner for a change, whatever it was it was thoughtful and special to me. He would start my morning off by singing happy birthday to me to wake me up! I may have been annoyed then but I would've given anything to hear him sing to me this morning. He always made sure he was the first one to tell my happy birthday. This year it is different. He isn't here to say happy birthday, but I'm sure he's thinking it, and he's not here to spend the day with me, which I'm sure is upseting to him as well, but I've honestly never been so ready for a day to be over than today! I know I'm being a negative nancy but my birthday isn't complete without him and I'm having a really hard time finding the "happy" in today. My friends and family are trying to make my day nice and I appreicate it, but it's not the same!

Has anyone had a day like that?!

Good Morning everyone, I hope you all are having a great day. It is Thursday and that was always the day I got my letters. So, I hope you all get letters today :)

On another note; can you believe it is barely over 2 weeks until Christmas??? This year has flown by....

Hi marymoo, so nice to hear your daughter is doing well too. My daughter had her wisdom tooth pulled as well, i think she has a few more to go?? But said it wasn't that bad. I can't wait to her from her again.

redsmom-thinking about the Christmas card idea also. Don't wanna get the poor guy into trouble or make him uncomfortable. I'm trying to think like my son would right now, but sometimes he throws me off. What I think may be a neat and sweet idea, he may say "No don't bother." But, he could say, that's a good idea mom! HHHmmmmm, what to do????
