Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Be patient Ash, I have only heard from my sailor at the "im here" call and one letter with the Christmas adopt a sailor form. There are high powers that are watching over you. Keep praying....

Ashnuke wife... I was told from PAO that we were not allowed at all to give or fax our copy of the paper to anyone else and we had to get it from our sailor??? but somebody else heard diff. but who I spoke with was pretty very sure that we couldnt or i totally would!!! I am soooooooo uppset that I cant go!!!! my son wants to come out so bad ! maybe he will get picked by somebody thats going?? Im praying! anyways u will have time to fax it back and you r allowed to take one RC of the same gender as well :) be praying for you all.

Thanks, I am not going to suprise him. I sent him a christmas card saying merry christmas I'm coming to see you, so get me the form!! I hope they arent super strict about the 15th deadline, I may not recieve my form til then. =/ I am gonna stay positive though and count on seeing my husband for christmas!

martysmom...hang in there...my son went in at the end of august and my first call came the first week of October, Thursday to be exact...at 4:10PM...and yes it was that memorable....lol...remember what your recruit said was you would get a call in "about" 3 weeks....that leaves a lot to the discretion of the RDCs...lol!!

The one thing it stressed on the paper as well as when I spoke with the PAO was do not plan on coming up to surprise your sailor. They must know. and I know that it is very hard to get communication back and forth right now. The PAO personnel are very helpful.

There are a lot of people afraid that they won't get the Christmas form from their SR in time, myself included. I hope and pray we all get them in time. I was told that the deadline of the 15th was flexible :)

ASH HOw exciting!!!! check out this website. call them call them call them. they will guide you on what to do. Yes you will be taking another male sailor with you. It is required. They must travel in a buddy system.
