I'm sorry Judie. Yea, I talked to NS, we have been texting while she's in Disney. He probably puts most of his time into writing her, so just have her keep you update. I know my husband finds it hard to write more than 1 letter on sunday but he managed to send a small letter to his brother and one to his sister. My hubby also said him and James keep each other in the loop between what NS and I write to them! I'm sure James misses you very much, but he's young and in love!

Ash- I still haven't, but my son called NS to talk to her... so we know he's doing OK. No letter yet either... but he never was much of a letter writer.

Lynne-I would be in trouble all the time!!! My son is a very quiet person, our whole household is really very quiet. He wasn't a recluse or anything, but he never did anything to get in trouble here, so he wasn't disciplined for doing things wrong. He followed our rules and we all got along. I can't imagine him getting yelled at for folding a shirt wrong, or ironing wrong. I couldn't even imagine what a shock it would be to deal with the frustrations of that. I can slowly hear the confidence building in my son through his letters though, and that is such a relief.

I got a call from my son last night. It was short, only 10 minutes. He seems to be doing OK. He said he is Grad and Go. He will be going to Florida. Anyone else's recruit going there. He didn't know what day he would be leaving.
Comment by Lynne on December 4, 2010 at 1:13pm
I know it is hard but consider this....you all come in here and vent everyday...and sometimes many times a day just to check in say hi, see how things are, ask how others are... your recruits get up speak when spoken too, chant, count, study, eat, chant, count, study, eat, chant, count study, and maybe get to talk before bed...think about how hard it would be to go without talking al that time...how much trouble would you be in???

Change your facebook picture to a cartoon character from your childhood. The goal? To not see a human face on facebook until Monday the 6th of Dec. Join the fight against child abuse, and invite your friends to do the same!
