Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

So upset - my whole body feels numb. Just found from my boyfriends mom that he isn't graduating. He isn't going to get a graduation, hes going to go to A school after hes done with boot camp. I have no idea when he will be done with boot camp :'(

Don't worry nicole and pinkaboo, I haven't received a call either.

 

nicole -- I am in hopes that our SRs will graduate this Friday..don't want to drive all the way up there if they are not! And at least ours are in the same division. lol. Did you call his mom to see if he called her?

Well, I still haven't heard anything. Several moms in 47 have gotten their calls already. I'm wondering if he has watch or something.

Seems like everyones been getting phone calls.... haven't heard anything yet :/ Hopefully he called his mom & thats why I haven't heard from him! Congratulations on your new sailors!

Ladies~just wanted to say thanks for all the love and support you have shown me.

It has been a pleasure to be a part of this group! Hopefully everyone will check in from time to time and update.

I am hopeful my daughter will re-enlist after 6 months and when she gets her medical clearance (waiver).
