Thanks Bluewarriorlady! I just wish I had told our son who stayed home from church to answer the phone regardless & especially area cod 847! It said US Govt on the caller ID & my husband is an accountant so our son figured it was for Dad. She didn't leave a message so I am hoping everything is ok! What do you think ladies? Especially you veteran Moms????

I missed a call from my son last Saturday morning. I had the phone in my hoodie pocket and was blowing leaves and didn't hear it ring. I felt like the worst mom in the whole wide world, and then I started thinking of how he was feeling and I cried and cried into the leaves! We haven't blown the leaves since!! I was having a really good day yesterday-didn't cry at all-until we went to the home improvement store to buy pain to redo my sons room. A lady I work with said "what are you shopping for?" The floodgates opened. I sure don't appreciate the roller coaster ride at this point.

navyfam -Yeah. 847 is the area code for the Great Lakes area. I googled it a while back to make sure I picked up for the right area code (I get random calls from random area codes all the time.) I'm sorry that you missed your call! :-(

Hey Ash -- from one preggo to another, I think it is totally normal. In fact, I felt angry today. My emotions are all over the place! And you are right...pregnancy doesn't help the situation when you are emotional to begin with! We will get through this. Sometimes I cry a lot..sometimes I can't bring myself to. Other times I am really mad that I have to be stuck here while he has to go through the roughs and tumbles of bootcamp, and I can't be there to help him. I know how you feel. But just count down the days with me! We are almost there!

I am so bummed! Peetty sure I missed a call from our girl! I had a missed call on my cell & a missed call at home. We were at church....good place to be & I had my phone on vibrate and was probably walking out. Then she tried the home phone & our son who was home sick didn't answer because he didn't recognize the number...U.S. Govt. 847 area code.

Joyceann-I know it kinda scary to think about huh? Our friend thinks he figured out who the agent taking pictures was & it was a jogger dressed in regular workout gear!
Comment by joyceann on November 28, 2010 at 2:44pm
Navyfam-oh my-pictures of me???? When you said that, all kinds of things flashed through my mind! I am notorious for weeding my flowers in shorts and tshirt and no bra! (I figure if nobody can see me-I may as well be comfortable!) Maybe I should start being more discreet huh?
Comment by Kate-Ship 12/Div 039 on November 28, 2010 at 1:59pm
Ash, very normal. I do not feel all the emotions that you are feeling, only sad that I cannot pick up the phone and call my boy. This is however a good forum to rant, grieve, be sad, be happy, be proud...be with people who are in your boat.
Comment by AshJewell on November 28, 2010 at 1:47pm
JessicaB-Sailor Mom- thank you for the reassurance. I just hate feeling this way, I don't want to be mad. But I'm hoping it will pass. At least I know it's normal! Thanks for the support.

Joyceann-you are funny! No picture taking for you, but they probably have of you! Lol. We had a friend whose neighbor was being investigated by the FBI & they came & talked to him and showed him all the pictures they had of him...plus they said we wanted to talk to you because your background is squeaky clean! Kinda scary how much the FBI knows.
