Ash & Bluewarrior, best of luck in your pregnancies! Trust your Mommy instincts! As you well know most of us are Moms and our babies are grown, so we have a lot of experience! And you can shoot me a question anytime. Bluewarrior you can friend me...sometimes you don't want to ask your Mom or the doctor. Been there, done that! Mine in BC is 20 (daughter) and I have a 16 yr. boy!

Vanessa - I'm sure that you will receive letters soon! I'm pretty sure that they are alright. But hopefully they do run the mail on Friday! The anticipation sucks, I know!

Ash - We are having a boy! If your instinct is telling you it's a boy, that is probably what it is! We wanted a boy, and my intuition told me the same thing. Yes -- getting these letters def. helped! I cried because he said he has never missed me so much and that he is homesick. I can't wait til we see our men!

I am so jealous of those of you who got letters today :-(
Obviously the mail isn't running tomorrow, but I am hoping for Friday. I'm glad to hear they are doing well and congratulations on hearing from them!

Bluewarriorlady-I'm not positive on what I'm having but my mommy instinct is I'm having a boy. Plus every gender quiz, and the chinese birth chart all say I'm having a boy! Do you know what you're having!! Congrats on getting letters, I got my first one today (7pages long) it def. helps my emotions. (ragging hormones dont help as you would know!)

Good news everyone! i received about 7 letters today in the mail from my husband! (Ship 12, Div 041). He is doing well. He says that the food is great. The first couple of days started out rough but everyone is generally okay.
@Ash - Thanks so much! I will need support from someone who understands! Do you know if you are having a girl or boy?

Lynne & Dianne, thanks for the encouragement! You two are such a blessing....Blessed they are right we all have good days and days when we need a lift. I am still looking forward to the 1st "real" letter and anxiously go to the mail box each day! In some ways I'm not having as rough a time; problably 2 reasons: 1 my daughter has lived away from home for most of the 2 yrs. since she turned 18 and 2. It's a daughter! Not that I don't love and miss her; but you know the realationship between a mother and son is just something special...in a different way.
