Got a call from our SR on Wednesday for more security clearance info. He said he had passed everything - Yeah! Did okay with the gas chamber and said it wasn't as bad as he was prepared for! He was excited for battlestations but not sure what to expect. He did say there was a lot of sickness. My son has had a lot of knee pain, too. So far he's been able to keep going - hopefully he'll make it to the end. Anxiously awaiting the call! Praying for all the SR's with illness and injury. It has to be pretty disheartening to come this far and have something like that happen.

redsmom- I had a very restless night as well and now ,like you I've cleaned the house upside down just to keep busy. I went for a run early this morning just to stay busy lol. So know I'm just waiting. I'm just trying to find a good movie to keep my mind off being so anxious for the special call lol

I had a restless night but woke early to just try and stay busy....done some laundry, cleaned the kitchen and now off to workout....maybe release some of this unwanted stress!

Cell phone fully charged and attached at the hip....just waiting :-)

Prayers of recovery for all our rcts that need God's healing hand laid apon them.

Two letters from our son yesterday.  He passed the second test which was right after Christmas.  He was nervous about the third and final test and inspections.  No word about when BS was going to take place.  The letters were from 12/30 and 1/2 though.

The anticipation builds as I wait for my "I'm a Sailor" call! I had a blue candle burning all night (it was an aroma therapy candle so it helped me fall asleep too!) and now I have to wait patiently with phone in hand (ALL DAY!)

HOOYAH DIV.042, I'm so proud of all you guys!

I got a the same letter as ProudGMBarb.  My son has gone to medical for his knee.  He said it hurt like crazy.  The boy never admits to being in pain.  He thinks he will be ASMO'd but did say that his RDC told him if he could make up what he has missed he will still be in his same DIV.  He wrote the letter Sunday but we haven't gotten a call.  He even asked for prayer.  That makes me so proud!  Even in a time of pain and tribulation he still looks to God for direction.  My blue candle has been burning and prayer warriors are lifting up our boys before the Throne!  I love you all so much!  Thanks for all your support and encouragement.

Well diannep I thought that too, but I made a call to PAO yesterday to ask about bringing someone not on the list and tried to get a little info out of the very nice lady on the other end.  Told her that several of us hadn't heard and didn't figure it would be Thursday Night, but wondered if, given the chronological order of what we already know, it might be Sunday or Monday. She said that she could not give out that information, but it wouldn't be either of those two days.

Soooo....   My blue candles stay lit, my heart still prays for all, and my adrenaline level is trying to remain steady.

We ( several of us in 045/046) have been trying to keep tabs, but it appears that none of us know.     As I stated earlier today, haven't heard from my SR since I dropped him off Christmas, but.....  046 was p-held for 12 days, and probably have lots of things to do to keep up.

As always, will just keep the faith!

My guess is that 45/46 will go(BattleStations) either Monday night, 1/10, or Tues night, 1/11 with 47/48.  Seems strange that they would skip Monday night...so maybe that is the night.  Tentative schedule on the BattleStations discussion group above.

gmaof6:  They have a bit more free time, but still have their "chores" and PIR practice.  But the pressure is off after BattleStations so they feel much better!  They also may be able to sneak in a few more phone calls home!

GM My daughter says you do watch duty or whatever is required of you.  She graduated last year December.  After BS she was allowed to call home and have a 10 hour sleep.
