Thank you everyone for keeping him in your prayers ! I felt relieved when I read that he will most likely get more chances to pass his run because thats what he is most worried about! nkeriru - I know its really hard not to be there but thankfully he has the best medical help! I’m happy to hear that your sailor recovered & was able to catch up on everything he missed while he was sick! Tamme - How long did it take your son to recover from being sick? I’m happy to hear that he recovered & graduated with his division ! I’ll deffinitely keep everyone updated when I find out more information ! I think he will probably be in the hospital for a couple days, would it be okay if I called him to see how he is doing? i don’t want to bother him but I just want to see how hes doing!
@ Nicole - praying for your SR. Please keep us posted!
Nicole- My sailor was sick right before christmas. he was running a fever of 102 degress or more. I know how hard it is to not be there, but the Navy has the best medical help. He is probably on limited duty. My sailor was sick for a couple of days, but that didnt set his PIR back any. 50% of the courses the learn is on the computer and recruit sailors teach themselves. Therefore when your sailor gets better he will just catch up with that part of the work on his own. Nicole keep faith and prayer, these guys and girls develop a certain determination and stregthn that they themselves can't explain. I keep your sailor in my prayers and wish you both the best. Keep faith
Nicole=praying..so sorry he is so sick...Please Father God, heal this young man and allow him to continue on and finish strong. Relieve any anxiety and give him sweet rest and please comfort Nicole as well..that she may be an encouragement. We know you are the great Physician....reach out and touch him and give the doctors wisdom. In Jesus' name Amen!
From what I know from talking to experienced Navy Moms the RDC's want them to succeed and pass so they may give him another chance and hopefully he will be back with his division soon. May do BattleStations with another division if he is not back when his division does theirs. But we are hoping and praying for the best! As Lala said you want him to get better. Hugs to you both and keeping you in my prayers!
Looking forward to a good report soon! <3
