Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

What a great day, 2 phone calls from my SR!  He is doing great.  Sure wish I could have went to see him especially after seeing all the pictures but it was nice to hear that he was being well cared for by the great folks in Indiana.

Thank u for your help. My sonsvgirlfriend just received a call, he is getting back in line to call his momma next ;). I hope I can see him in some pictures later on.

I went to the US Navy Recruit Training Command facebook page and it made me cry.  I feel bad that I could not be there for my SR.  I am so happy for all the families that were able to go and see their SR!  19 more days....I can make it!!!

Go to the US Navy Recruit Training Command facebook page They have posted pictures there of recruits being adopted by their families. Later today they will post pics of those recruits adopted by local organizations and also give links to local media covering the events!

Merry Christmas to all you wonderful moms.  To the moms that get to see their Sr's, I am so excited for you.  I can't imagine what you are feeling.  God bless you all and hope you had a safe trip.  Cannot wait to hear all the details!!!  Maybe today I will get a phone call.  20 days to go.
