Ash- I fell in love with this name and suggested it to my bro & sis in law. Luckily, they really liked it!! It's now my neices name. Victoria, Tori for short! Elegant and short and spunky at the same time!!! Congratulations on the baby girl! I have to wait for grandbabies for a girl--but I will get one someday!!! I am so happy for you!
M'saunt-Welcome! There is a group for your niece's division also. http://www.navyformoms.com/group/ship7divsion044pir11411
If you'd like to join! Be sure and stay up on this group too. My daughter was in that division...unfortunately she went home on a medical dishcarge...she is doing well & can re-enlist in 6 months if she chooses too.
Glad to have you on this group and I'm praying for success for all the recruits especially the girsl in division 044!
Take care!
Hello everyone, I'm kinda new here. My niece is scheduled for PIR on 1/14 as well. (already have the plane tixs, still working on rental car and hotel.) She is S 07 D 044. Thanks to everyone on here ~ there has been some great information to absorb. My brother (her father) if flying out to adopt her and a friend that she has made for Christmas. She will be staying at Great Lakes for A school so hopefully she will have liberty for the weekend. But I just wanted to say Hi and Thanks for all the great info you have provided here.
My son told me today that his "rack" mate invited him to go with his family for Christmas. He is evidently taking part in the adopt-a-sailor program. I don't know who the wonderful family (I think from San Diego) is. But, if you are on N4M and reading this, BLESS YOU! I am thrilled that my SR will be with a family!
We got a call today, too! Everything is good!
Ash-
Saylor (?)
I am SO happy my husband called tonight. I was able to tell him he's having a LITTLE GIRL <3 I just found out today. I was going to wait and suprise him on Christmas but he said he couldn't wait a week, he would lose his mind! He's very happy thought!
Any suggestions for cute/uncommon girls names?!
I got a call also. My recruit was doing well. It was so good to hear his voice!
