I received a letter today (Finally) I seems my SR had watch on Sunday and then his regular chores...no time for writing!  At least my fears are calmed!  He sounded really up beat and that the div. was really pulling together now and things were going much smoother!!!!   I do think all the Nukes (including mine) are leaving first thing Saturday from what all you wonderful Mom's are telling me!  My son still has not mentioned it at all!  He sent me a photocopy of the entire Nuke training program schedule with what they do-study time etc, leave schedule.  Any one interested send me a message and I will scan and email for snail mail it to you.  It shows where the different schools are housed so where they might be stationed.

JessicaB--- Thank you for the link! I know I'm bringing  lots of tissue with me to PIR. I didn't use to be a crier, but as I've gotten older that's changed.

jaysmom: My son is also headed to NUK A school and he told me in his first letter that he was "Grad and Go" so we should not plan on coming to graduation as he would only have a few hours after graduation and then depart for A school Saturday am.

As I live on the Big Island I did take about 30 seconds to reconsider my trip to his graduation. I decided that even if all I got to do was watch him pass in review that would be enough for me. I'm really there for him, to acknowledge his achievement. So at this point I am looking for what can be done right there as we will likely not have the luxury of time to travel into the city for a nice dinner or anything else.

Bubba's Mom: I'm a spouse and I  have a military ID so I called and asked them and they said since I have a military ID I can stay without him checking me in.

Good Morning everyone, I hope you had a great weekend. We got 6 inches of snow here in NC. Your PIR is getting very close. If you plan to order ribbons to wear to PIR please send me a friend request and I will send you the info for ordering.

Surfer-Mom-My husbands div. is grad-n-go. As far as I know he is leaving the Sat. morning afte graduation. He is not the only nuke in that division, but I am learning the nukes are seperated in all different divisions.  I guess it all depends on their divisions.

Hi Vanessa, I was told I could not stay at the Navy Lodge unless an enlisted person was there with me when I signed in, but I am allowed to stay there at PIR were you told something different. I have a reservation right by the airport because I did not want to travel too far christmas eve alone.
