My first two questions will be "are you eating? How is the food? My SR is the pickiest of eaters and when my SR doesn't eat regular meals the migraines come.
I am so thankful we had our SR's 4 wisdom teeth taken out before BC. My SR had a reaction to the anesthesia and was home in bed from school for a week. Our recruiter tried to get us to wait and "let the Navy pay for the oral surgery" and so glad we didn't wait. Mom's do know best
My recruit said he was told he has to have his wisdom teeth removed too but they are going to wait till after basic. Not sure why this is an issue except that if they are away, i guess they could cause problems when there's not a dentist??
Proud Navy Mom - I don't think there are any hard and fast rules - from the information I have gathered Sunday's are your best bet. That is why I started this discussion thread so we could kind of get a feel for what to expect.
Our child is also ship 09 div 013. We are arriving onThursday too and scheduled to leave Sunday for now. We are also staying at the Navy Lodge. They said we need to use a private company to get to the graduation on Friday or leave extremely early if we plan on driving there on our own.
The woman said when we booked over the phone it was a little over a mile or so but we wouldnt be able to walk it? She said they had private companies and see who has the best rates? I am thinking way too cold for my little guys in Dec as well as my parents to attempt to walk anyway
I was going to call again and see what they say and ask for the numbers
no have not received any calls just the box and form letter with little note on back which i was moret then thrilled to get
have already mailed several letters and booked my flight i hope time flies
