I also got my SR ship and division from his recruiter whis is Ship 09/Div 013 and no form letter yet. Maybe today?
We got our letter today. Super super excited to get it. PIR is 12/2 and I am on the countdown - 49 more days.

Congrats!  I was shaking when I received the form letter in the mail today and he wrote a short letter on the back

. MY SR's younger brother said mom do you want me to read it to you?  This  form and short letter made my day!!!!!!!!

I was crying when I read our SR letter. My husband said "maybe he shouldn't write anymore" my husband is still alive today. Congrats on getting the letter.
Yay! I'm glad to find someone else in my SR's division.  I hope I get my form letter today!  It is encouraging to know that they have gone out.
Praying you get your letter today. Remember Monday was Columbus Day so mail was delayed a day. Let me know if you get your letter.
I am going to book our airfare this weekend. We are trying to coordinate 6 people flying in from 3 different airports and hoping we all get in to the drill hall. December is not the ideal time to fly into Chicago but I will not miss PIR. My son has a friend who just graduated BC in the Marines and 40 members of his family were there. Being in San Diego outside I guess there is no limit to the number of people that can attend.  Is anyone else from Ship 09 Div 013 going to PIR on 12/2?
We are going too!  We will be driving from New Jersey. There are 6 of us too. However my younger sons do not count due to their age.  I just finished booking our stay at the Navy Lodge too! I am counting the days!
Great Lydia. Maybe we can have a get together for Ship 09 Div 013 the night of the 1st at Navy Lodge with other families. I would love to meet other moms. New Jersey seems like a long drive especially in the late Fall weather. How long a drive is it?
We are staying at Navy Lodge also!
Sorry for the delay in my  response, its about 14 hours!  It should be a fun drive with our 2-1/2 yr old and 8 yr old. We are all so excited!  Would love to get together when we arrive.
We are going. We are taking the train, we live in Michigan. We are arriving Thursday night and leaving Sunday. I hope they have liberty Saturday.
