The reason we chose Spring Hill Suites was the free breakfast an indoor pool. I called them back after your note on Navy discount. Rate was 99.00 per night which is still better than AAA rate of 104.00 and regular rate of 109.00.Also you can cancel up to 6pm same day. Wish we could go to Sarge's meet and greet but we will have to fly out Thursday late afternoon early or early evening due to work.
I got mine yesterday too!! Made our hotel reservation last night. We'll be driving to GL!!
I got my letter yesterday! So excited!
Welcome, Adam's mom!
Good Day!
"The Lord is the One who goes ahead of you.
He will be with you."

I just booked at the Navy Lodge for Dec 5th graduation Only 1.3 miles away. So excited.
Good Morning! nathansmom, we stayed the Residence in Waukegan/Gurnee and really liked it. Nice hotel, pet friendly, about 4-5 miles from RTC. Close to Springhill Suites and Courtyard too, so those are options for you as well. Courtyard has an indoor pool (which Residence Inn guests were allowed to use in the past---maybe Springhill Suites guests too???)....if that makes a difference to you! These hotels are close to Sarge's MeetandGreet held the night before PIR for all of you! Near a large Walmart shopping center with restaurants too!
Here is the link to the Courtyard which shows the indoor pool:

Be sure to call these hotels directly and ask for their Navy Grad discount. Some rooms are held at this discounted rate at many of the local hotels.
Good Morning!
Which hotel do you recommend. I am a Marriott member. I see 4 in the area. 2 Residence Inns, 1 Spring Hill Suite and 1 Courtyard. It looks the only one with a pool is Spring Hill Suites we are planning on staying the weekend even if ships to A school. Want to take our daughter to some museum in that area.
My SR date 12/5/14 on Ship 12 (USS Triton) DIV 035. I'm so excited and proud. But I sure did miss him our house is so quite. I hope to link up with other families.
