Congratulations Proud Sailor Moms

Eight weeks ago we kissed goodbye

And sent you on your way

Now the day has come we’ve waited for

It’s Graduation Day!

No more sitting, staring at the phone,

Just praying it would ring.

No more waiting on the mailman

And the letters he would bring.

Your days of standing watch have passed,

And thoughts of missing home.

You have grown to take your place at last

And stand up on your own.

You wondered if you’d make it through

To stand here on this day

For all the things you’ve learned to do

With pride you now can say…

“A Navy Sailor stands before you,

Here on graduation Day!

I have done what I se out to do,

In every single way.”

Greetings!

enlightened in order that you may know the hope

to which He has called you."

3 days and counting so nervous so excited!!!

A NAVY MOM'S PRAYER

Dear Lord,

Give me the greatness of heart to see the difference between a mother's love and duty to country. Give me the understanding that I may know, when duty calls-he must go… Give me a task to do each day, to fill the time when he's away. And, Dear Lord, when he goes to sea, please bring him home safely to me.

Amen

Navymom 904 or anyone else

Can you please tell me where you find the "flight info index card/form"      i had it once but don't know where I found it.

Thank you

Thank you so much FTLW.  That is pretty much how I was feeling, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't just being paranoid.  I have locked down my social media as best as I can but I can't control other people's actions.  As much as I try, LOL.  Sometimes other family members get a little exuberant and want to share things of mine that they shouldn't.  So I think I will keep the photos off social media and share them using other more private avenues.

FTLW- very well put. I agree with you on the social media stance. I work in IT and nothing is secure or secret.

...good question hishippygirl... :-)
