Here is a PAGE I just added for your PIR GROUP about Flags and Pennants.

Link:

Flags and Pennants that your DIV can earn while at BC

PAGES are located on your PIR GROUP here just under the MEMBERS Photos in the right-hand column.

Okay, I forgive you...just kidding. WE LOVE QUESTIONS!!!

The entire Division earns the Flag. They will carry this (and all flags and pennants earned) at PIR.

Their academic scores are added up and averaged for the %'s.

Forgive me with all of my questions today. Did the entire div earn the flag or just a fe of the SR's?

Oh, here is info on the MWR onboard RTC from their website:

RTC Recreation Center located in Bldg. 1326 (next to the NEX) on the Recruit Training Command provides recreational opportunities for newly graduated recruits and visiting families, the RTC Recreation Center is an introduction to MWR services that will be enjoyed at future duty stations. This Center is fully equipped with a projection screen television with surround-sound showing movies daily, a computer room with internet access, a large game room with pool tables, electronic video games, a commons area to socialize and Zapper's Snack Bar. If you are unable to purchase a custom Divisional T-Shirt, stop by the RTC Rec Center after graduation and throughout the weekend to purchase shirts or fill out order forms. Also, tickets available for sale include: Six Flags Great America (seasonal), Skydeck at Willis Tower, Chicago Trolley Tours and Metra Train.
Hours of Operation:
Mon-Wed: 5pm-8pm, Thurs: Closed, Fri: 10 am-9 pm, Sat: 8 am-9 pm, Sun & Holidays: 8 am-8 pm.

Your SR's can earn many Flags and Pennants while in BC as well as designing their own personal Divisional Flag.

The emblem on their Division Flag is used for Division T-Shirts. These may be purchased on the web after the Division Graduates. They will be available on the web store for 10 months after the PIR date.

PLEASE NOTE that even though it is 2014 for us civilians the Military Fiscal Year starts October 1. So, your Recruits are in the 2015 Fiscal Year right now. This means that your Recruits T-shirts are NOT on the MWR site yet.  You are going to see a link for shirts with your Divisions numbers in it but they are for the 2014 PIR's which happened last year around this time. They are still in 2014 as there are Divisions still Graduating that were formed in Fiscal Year 2014.

I am not sure if the MWR onboard RTC still has some Division T-Shirts available for sale the day of PIR. (I believe you can go their to place orders though.)They used too, but my thinking on that is why use that time doing that when time is a precious commodity with your new Sailor.

Also, some Recruits purchase shirts for their loved ones as a gift (they are able to purchase their own while in BC and may order others at the time) so it's best to wait until after PIR and do it on the Web at your leisure.

Here is the web link to the MWR store for future use:

FTLW,

I think it would be great if you could create the Thanksgiving discussion here since this PIR group can be adopted out~~

Kimberley68,

Thanks for putting together a basket!  Could you please pop into the Basket Project discussion up above and post your participation, so Barbie can keep track of everyone's contributions?
