Good Morning!

nathansmom:  Gates open at 6:30.  No, you will not have a problem bringing in your medical supplies.  They just may have to inspect them.

navymom:  No issue then for you future sailor and Leave days!  He is one of the lucky ones!

1BlessedNavyMom:  Your SR's division is neither an 800 (Special Operations) or 900 (Performing) division.  Just a regular division!

If you drive to RTC what is the earliest they allow you in? Do they allow you to bring in Insulin, test kit and glucagon injections. thanks

Here's the link on the Division shirts and photo packages, the Keel (yearbook) and the absolutely MUST HAVE  PIR DVD is there too.  Write your SRs to let them know what to order...  (I photocopied the page, circled what I wanted, and included it in one of my letters to my Sailor daughter.)

Gals,

The Division shirts will not be available to order until after PIR because the design made by the SRs is a secret that will be revealed at PIR as they are marching proudly in front of their families!!  Some SRs go ahead and order shirts as gifts for their family members.  Be aware that the Ladies size runs smaller as they are cut in the Juniors style.

The link for the Division shirts is on the Pages section of the "Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones)" group.

!BlessedNavyMom how can I order PIR shirts?

Comment by navymom on October 26, 2014 at 9:40pm

diannep: He has 32 weeks in A school and I think he wants to get home for Christmas.I hope it works out for him.

I need some help please. My son is SHIP 14 DIV 034 but I cannot find that division anywhere to order PIR shirts!! Also the 900 & 800 divisions are confusing to me. Is DIV 034 a 900 or 800 division???

Comment by diannep on October 26, 2014 at 7:41pm

navymom:  Also know that if your sailor has a shorter A School, he/she may not want to use many days at Christmas so that they can be saved to use after A School, before duty station.  For the longer A Schools,  this won't be a problem.  But for A Schools that are 10-12 weeks long, it could be.  They use Leave time during the holidays and then again before reporting to duty station (if they want and have the days accrued to do it).

Comment by diannep on October 26, 2014 at 7:39pm

FIBroomie:  They don't have training days counted on weekends, so my guess is that 2-1 (week 2, day 1) would be tomorrow for your son's division.
