twosilvatwins- My daughter had a-school in Pensacola. She was at NAS. My son-in-law is in Pensacola now for A-school and he is at Corey Station. Let me know if I can answer any questions for you at all. :-)

I can't believe how fast the time seems to be passing. Maybe it is the holidays coming up. Maybe it is that there is no Dec 10 PIR group. I hope it seems to be passing quickly for you all as well. I am already working on PIR ribbons for this group. If you ordered ribbons and are leaving much earlier for PIR please let me know. I usually mail the ribbons 2-3 weeks before PIR just in case there are any changes. I hope you all are having a happy hump day :-)

Anti M: Question for you. A mom was mentioning in another group that she knew of another mom whose son passed the swim test on PIR morning and was there (although no marching). I told her that I had always heard that they had to pass ALL tests before doing BStations and they have to pass BStations before graduating...so I told her my guess was that the swim test was passed the morning before PIR and he did BStations with another group that night---the night before PIR, sitting in the balcony because of exhaustion! Do you know of any situations where someone can pass a test the day of PIR and still graduate (not BStations, as I know that happens--completing the mornign of PIR...I mean tests prior to BStations). This was being said in relation to another recruit who missed the run time yesterday and her mom is trying to figure out if she can stil graduate on Fri.
Thanks for any info you have!

Wendi, she could also have a pulled rib muscle, which actually happens fairly often.

Hi Everyone !! Thanks for all the encouragement about the prank.
I also thoughr that my sons A school was just going to be the 14 weeks that he was told. In reality, I guess the school is, just you dont know about the other things that also happen at that time. We have been figuring out when we would be making our trip for graduation in Florida.. Looks like we have more time to plan it out !! I;ve also been advised by someone :) to change my screen name. I'm going to try an do this, sooo look for me with Maryland in my name !!

That is what I was thinking...She snowboards but CA and Nevada cold is different that Chicago cold.
Comment by Betsy, mom of Stennis sailor on November 17, 2010 at 12:36am
Wendi, is she used to cold weather? I wonder if that's part of her breathing problem?
Comment by Anti M on November 17, 2010 at 12:34am
If she is having breathing problems, she might be able to hide it (bad idea), but when she hits the gas chamber and inhales tear gas, she'll be in danger (really, really bad idea). As much as she does not want to, she must tell her RDC and go get it checked out.
