Lori & Wendi, I found In God We Trust and added it. :)

(Lori, wasn't trying to steal your thunder, I just wanted to see if I knew how to add a song. lol)

lllinibeam, So sorry to hear your bf isn't feeling well, but hopefully by now. he is better. That's awesome about him being a flag carrier.

Wendi - I will try and find this song on Playlist when I get home tonight; I can't work with the application from my work computer. Its about time we added a new song or two! Thanks for the request. Ditto on H's phone call - its nice to have her on the inside, sharing to us N4M's on the outside! Very nice the SR's get to celebrate, and benefit, from Veteren's Day! Aunti M - don't ever leave us; love your perspective, your knowledge and helpful comments! I bet that flag was the best company flag ever! A stick heh, another new term to add to my Navy dictionairy! Hi ya Betsy!

Good Morning, ladies. (Well, at least it's still morning here. lol) Happy Veteran's Day.

Wendi, I'm so glad H is keeping you updated. It makes us all happy to hear about things are going for her.

Susan, my son would have been right next to your son, playing those video games. lol I wonder if they miss those?

Anti M, thank you for helping us learn what the Navy is all about.

Dianne, if you find out more about that show, would you post it? I looked through my locals channels and it's not there. The only thing I could find was a documentary, on PBS, called Medal of Honor, but it didn't say she was the host.

Someone posted a video and song from Diamond Rio on My Facebook. Maybe called In God We Still Trust or Here in America. Great song. Banned by radio stations. I wish I knew how to put it here

Shining your boots is very relaxing, like meditation. So is ironing.

I thought today might not be a full training day, good for them to get a bit of a break!

Awesome Wendi! Thank goodness for your phone calls from your girl :) Lets us know everything that is happening :) I'm glad they are getting a relaxing day. I agree about the ironing and shining boots. Mine would have spent his free time playing video games in his pre-Navy life! Susan

H said that today would be like a Sunday with 4 hours of free time and that all she would have to do during that time was iron and shine her boots. Stramge to hear her say those things as if it were normal. She said she would write again today.

Where is he staying? If he is in a hotel, he should make sure he has his receipts for his travel claim.

You're right, there is a possibility he won't get it resolved today. He can try, but he should also sit tight and not make any decisions on his own. He should have a good meal, a shower and get some rest.

Do you know where he thinks he should be going? I can't tell a lot without seeing his orders myself. The Navy doesn't misplace sailors often, but it can happen. I can understand his fears, but tell him not to panic. They will find where he belongs.

Charlie's Desertmom- The exact same thing happened to my sailor. She arrived in VA from Pensacola and no one knew what to do with her. Her squadron and ship were out on tour and they normally send them straight to the ship but she had not had c-school so they were unsure what she was supposed to do. The chief that they sent her to gave her a job in his office and took her under his wing. She worked for him for about a month while she was waiting on c-school to start. I still don't think they did what they are supposed to do. She never went through in-doc at this new base. I thought they had to do that at every base they went to. It was very frustrating for her. Her classes have finally started though and I guess she will do in-doc maybe when her squadron and ship gets back from tour.
