Any word on if you are driving them home after PIR do they have to stay in uniform? I am just thinking that we will have 7 people in our van and it's a 13 hour drive. I cannot even imagine him in his uniform in all of that chaos. Susan

I posted the List on Jessica's What to Bring to PIR discussion pages, copying it from the 12/22 group. The list format might be helpful.

For those of you using a GPS to locate Great Lakes RTC, the official address per the RTC FB Page is - you may want to jot this down and put it in your "take to PIR" pile:

3355 Illinois Street
Great Lakes, IL 60088

I found that cheapoair had the best rates

Thank, Dianne. I was checking a lot online yesterday and the ones' from our house to Pensacola, for most of the online rates were exactly the same for different airlines. I'll wait until after 3 today, then.

Ladies: I'm doing a test today on flight prices. I for the heck of it priced flights from Mia to Ohare last night for Dec 2, returning Dec 5. Not that I'm flying then, but just random dates. I checked again this morning and they are still the same price. But on Good Morning America one time, a travel expert had said that after 3 pm, the fares drop on Tuesdays. Doesn't matter when you actually fly, as long as you book the ticket after 3 on Tuesday...cheaper. So I'm seeing if this applies to the US Air flights I chose. Maybe some of you want to check other airlines for this.

Another hint I read this morning: Bing Travel (google it) makes predictions of flight availability, prices, etc....and also if you check kayak.com for flights, you will see what airlines fly where you need to go and their prices. Then you can contact the airlines directly online for their prices. The airlines are promising that they are pricing flights booked online lower than the discount websites' prices....not sure this is always the case, but worth it to check it out. I found that to be true when I booked my flights to PIR earlier this year. Kayak was either the same or more expensive than going directly to the airlines for my flights.

I'll let you know what I find out with my pricing experiment today!

Looks like the weather in GL is pretty nice this week - mid 60's - this will make outside activities for our SR's nice!
