Heidi'sMom: I doubt they are going to send her home...she'll get over this "hump." Alot of them get discouraged at this point...especially with an injury. Keep encouraging her in your letters and hopefully she will be back to full training soon.Try to get all family members/friends to flood her with letters right now...that lifts their spirits more than anything.

I my have made my flight plans, too soon. I got 2 calls today and so did my husband. She was getting info for security clearance. She told us that her knee is hurting and she has been in physical therapy since Friday. After 7 days of LLD you get moved to the next group. She did say that if she PIR's on 12/17 she would come home for 2 weeks. She said she is going to ask the Dr tomorrow if she can come home. I am worried that she is giving up because she is tired and lonely. I just don't want her to feel like she failed. She so wanted this. Time will tell.

HOOYAH for the box and the rolled up pants leg----the first time I was asked that question, I had no clue. My son went to boot camp last Nov, but being a S. Florida boy, he went in shorts...because that is all he will wear...yep, shorts.....so of course, I had no rolled up pants leg. But the rolled up pants leg is something that has perplexed many!

HOOYAH!

hisgirl2010; the box comes in anywhere from 3 - 10 days for your SR's arrival at BC, the form letter and graduation packet follows the box. I got my SR's box days after arrival at BC and the form letter 3 days later. It varies. I expect BC that later part of the week of 10.25 was busy because we had many SR's BC arrivale delayed by 1 full day due to the weather in the Chicago area. Not sure if that will impact boxes and letters, but it could. When did your SR arrive at GL?

I got my box today!!!! Whoever thought that a pair of rolled up jeans would make me so weepy! The only thing in his pocket was his Livestrong bracelet! haha! No letter for Mom! I was a little concerned because both legs were rolled up and I thought uh-oh...didn't he follow orders? ...and yes, I smelled and smelled them! Yay for you too Mary!
I just wish I would get that form letter! You ladies have been so busy...I'm trying to keep up with scarf, ribbon and PIR group information! I think I'm going to have to start taking notes on our discussions! hahaha!
